PRIVACY POLICY

Overview

This policy covers two things: the EZ-CorridorKey desktop application and the website at ezcorridorkey.com. Both are built and operated by EZSCAPE VENTURES LLC.

The short version: the app processes your footage entirely on your own machine and your footage never leaves it. The app contains no telemetry, no analytics, and no accounts. This website is a static page with no accounts. You can manage optional uses through Cookies in the footer.

The desktop application

Your footage stays local

All processing happens on your computer. Imported clips, extracted frames, alpha mattes, and project files are read from and written to your local disk only. No inference or processing code path in the application makes any network request. Nothing you key is ever uploaded anywhere.

No telemetry, no analytics, no accounts

The application contains no analytics SDKs, no crash reporting services, no usage metrics, and no account system. It never posts data to any server.

Update check

On launch, the app fetches a small version file from an external service to see if a newer release exists. This request carries no personal data, no machine identity, and no usage information. If you prefer, disable it in Preferences or by setting the environment variable CORRIDORKEY_SKIP_UPDATE_CHECK=1. Downloading an update is always a separate, user-initiated action with signature verification.

Model downloads

AI model weights are large, so they are downloaded rather than bundled. The app downloads weights from external release services over HTTPS. No data about you or your footage is sent with them.

Issue reporting

If an install fails, or if you use Help > Report Issue, the app opens your browser to a pre-filled issue form containing diagnostic details (app version, OS, GPU, recent error log lines). Nothing is transmitted by the app itself: the report only exists once you review it and submit it.

This website

• ezcorridorkey.com is a static site served through a hosting service. We run no backend, no accounts, and no databases.
• Optional technologies may be used to understand and improve site use, subject to your settings.
• We remember your choice. Use Cookies in the footer to change it. Browser privacy settings are respected. Where consent is required, optional uses remain off until you allow them.
• The hosting provider processes standard server logs (IP address, user agent) to serve and protect the site under its privacy policy.
• The tutorial video is a click-to-load external video embed. No request reaches the video provider until you press play.

California privacy rights

Personal information is not sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising. California residents may request access, correction, or deletion. They may use Cookies in the footer or a browser privacy signal to opt out of optional cookies.

EEA and UK rights

Optional cookies are used only with consent. Consent can be withdrawn at any time. People in the EEA and United Kingdom may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and may complain to their local data protection authority.

Purchases and downloads

The Windows and macOS installers are distributed through an external payment and download provider. Payments, receipts, and any account data involved in those transactions are handled by that provider under its own privacy policy. We receive no payment details.

Source code, releases, and the issue tracker are hosted by an external code service. Anything you post there is governed by that service's terms and privacy policy.

Third-party services

We use external providers for hosting, payments, downloads, code, media, community, support, and optional site measurement. Each provider operates under its own privacy policy.

Children

Neither the app nor this site is directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with an updated date.
